2011 season kicks off

After one of the coldest winters in living memory, this year's growing season is finally kicking off and I've started work down the allotment, but it seems all I am currently growing there is cats:

  3. Hi, I came across your comment at MLS, so here I am. I hope you can visit my blog too, so you'll understand where I'm coming from.

What exactly do you plan to grow?

  4. Mal - No! I need more cats!

Damo - The site where my allotment is is surrounded on all sides by houses and there are plenty of cats about but none of them EVER come over to say hello, they just get all askeered and run off. I'm a cat person and have always found this quite sad, so I was thrilled when the little stripy one started coming over a couple of weeks ago, and then it brought a friend and I was thrilled! They have a huge 4-acre site to charge about in with no busy roads to be wary of.

Granpa - how lovely to meet you! And all the way from Malaysia as well! Actually, what you've asked is good enough to be a blog post in its own right. So my next one will be what I'm hoping to grow this year.
